Kaye Lost 5 Pounds!

AUDIO:

TRANSCRIPT:

JOHN: This is John from Mark Patrick Seminars and I’m on the phone with Kaye. Hi, Kaye. Can you tell everybody a little bit about yourself and where you’re from?

KAYE: I’m from Oregon. I have a riding stable. I show paint (?) horses. I am from a little town called Bonanza, Oregon and I’ve just about 40 pounds overweight and I’m trying my best to get those 40 pounds off. Even though I’m active it seems to hang on.

JOHN: Okay. Kaye, how much weight have you lost so far?

KAYE: Well, it’s been one week and I’ve lost five pounds.

JOHN: Terrific. Kaye, what type of environment did you grow up in?

KAYE: Grew up in a ranch and home with meat and potatoes, big meals at night, worked hard. Fried potatoes, steak. Just your hearty, hearty food all the time.

JOHN: Yes, sounds like it. Kaye, give us a couple of examples of the programs you’ve tried before to lose weight?

KAYE: Weight Watchers, NutriSystem, starvation. I’ve done all there is. Everything.

JOHN: Kaye, what was the most weight you have lost in the past?

KAYE: Sixty pounds.

JOHN: Fifty pounds.

KAYE: And I was bone skinny.

JOHN: You were bone skinny. Alright. Kaye, what do you think the reason was for gaining the weight back?

KAYE: Stress. I lost my husband. And I just feel like whenever I’m in a lot of stress I want to eat comfort food.

JOHN: Gotcha. That makes a lot of sense. Kaye, what were your expectations coming to a Mark Patrick seminar?

KAYE: That somehow, I could reset my brain. Reset my thinking, learn to love myself again, and learn to take care of me. I’m a child of God and there’s no sense in me putting this stuff back in my life again.

JOHN: Kaye, what changes have you noticed since the seminar?

KAYE: No more 11 o’clock peanut butter sandwiches. Bread has become—I got Ezekiel bread. I have one piece of that bread a day. I was a real bread eater. I am a great cook. I made homemade rolls. No more of that. I don’t even want it. Then, I would go to town and I always had to stop at Taco Bell. No more. Don’t do it. I don’t even want to. I can drive right by it and not even think about it. Definitely it’s helped me. It’s almost unbelievable that it worked for me because I have such a strong brain and it worked. So far, so good.

JOHN: Great. That’s a great testament. Excellent. Kaye, if there’s one statement or a word of advice you would give someone thinking about coming to a seminar, what would that be?

KAYE: You need to walk in there with an open mind wanting to make the changes that you have to be to be healthier and happier and learn to love yourself again. You have to have an open mind when you go in there. Thank you, Mark Patrick for fixing me and making me refitting my brain and my thinking, giving me the tapes that I can play and get my life back on track. I appreciate you a lot. It’s almost unbelievable that it worked for me because I have such a strong brain and it worked. So far, so good.
