JOHN: This is John from Mark Patrick Seminars and I'm on the phone with Barbara. So, Barbara, can you tell everybody a little bit about yourself and where you're from?
BARBARA: Well, I’m a German. Originally from Germany. I’ve been here in the States since ’04 and I live in Kansas.
JOHN: Barbara, how long did you smoke for?
BARBARA: Forty-two years.
JOHN: Wow. Forty-two years. Barbara, give us a couple of examples of the things you tried to help stop smoking?
BARBARA: Well, actually, I like smoking. The reason why I wanted to stop was the financial side of it because it is quite expensive.
JOHN: Barbara, what was the longest that you actually did stop for?
BARBARA: Well, six weeks because I had a really bad cold and I couldn’t stand the smell of cigarettes but that’s a long time ago.
JOHN: Barbara, what were your expectations coming to a Mark Patrick seminar?
BARBARA: Well, I was kind of skeptical because I wasn’t sure whether it would work, but I really wanted it to work because I did want to stop. So, that was pretty much, “Well, let’s wait and see.”
JOHN: Very good. Barbara, what changes have you noticed since the seminar?
BARBARA: I don’t miss it. It’s like I think about it, it’s like, “Oh, well.” No big deal. Now it’s been several months, I’m still surprised that I don’t have no cravings at all.
JOHN: Wow, that’s terrific. Barbara, if there’s one statement or a word of advice that you might give someone thinking about coming to a seminar, what would that be?
BARBARA: Try it. Definitely try it because it’s worth it. You don’t stink, you don’t have to go out on breaks that you’re not allowed to do. Your car don’t smell, you can go anywhere. You don’t have to sit in a restaurant and wait until you’re finally done eating so you can have your cigarette. Just go for it. It’s worth it. You’re not going to miss it. I can just tell everybody go for it. That’s really great. I really appreciate what Mark Patrick is doing. Thank you so much for having the seminars. I appreciate that very much. Thank you.
